Joseph Ferrara, CEO & Co-Founder, Ferrara Manufacturing

Joseph Ferrara is the CEO & Co-Founder of Ferrara Manufacturing, the largest high-end apparel manufacturing facility in the United States. Since 1987, Ferrara has specialized in tailored garments for prestigious clients including Ralph Lauren, the U.S. Military, and other leading American brands.

Joseph has played an active leadership role for nearly four decades, driving major investments in innovation, engineering, and technology. Most recently, he led the company’s $25 million expansion into a state-of-the-art, 50,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Long Island City, which now serves as the company’s U.S. headquarters.

Beyond apparel manufacturing, Joseph is an active angel investor, with notable successes including Body Labs (acquired by Amazon) and Tommy John (acquired by LNK Partners). He serves as a mentor, advisor, and board member to multiple startups, with a particular focus on technology and product-driven businesses.

He also teaches entrepreneurship and technology innovation at NYU, where he shares best practices in building and scaling startups. His investment interests include blockchain, AI, and other emerging technologies.

Joseph is the Senior Managing Member of the Ferrara Family Office, where he leads the firm’s investment committee across angel and early-stage opportunities. He is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and is always eager to engage with founders to discuss new ideas, opportunities, and the future of innovation. He remains a strong advocate for USA manufacturing and investments in domestic industrial capability.
